About the author
Arnold B. Bakker is Full Professor at the Department of Work and Organizational Psychology at Erasmus University Rotterdam, the Netherlands. He is President of the European Association of Work and Organizational Psychology, and a fellow of the American Psychological Society. His research interests include positive organizational behavior (e.g. performance, flow and engagement at work), burnout, work-family balance, and crossover of work-related emotions. He is a fellow of the British Psychological Society. His research concerns how cognitive and emotional processes involved in the design of work influence well-being, safety and performance.
