Prostate cancer is one of the most common malignancies in men in the Western world. Although a wide range of treatment regimens are available for this disease, there are few evidence-based guidelines for treatment selection. This volume describes the clinical value of imaging for improving not only staging and treatment selection, but also the diagnosis, treatment planning, and treatment follow-up for patients with prostate cancer. A multidisciplinary disease management approach is critical in this disease. For the radiologist, understanding the pathophysiology, critical clinical issues, and advantages and limitations of different treatments is essential for meaningful interpretation of imaging studies. Similarly, for the practising clinician, understanding the advantages and limitations of imaging modalities and the importance of optimal technique are crucial to the rational use of imaging. This volume serves as a valuable reference for radiologists, urologists, medical and radiation oncologists and all practitioners involved in the management of prostate cancer. - Contributions from all members of the multidisciplinary cancer care team - Exceptional high-quality illustrations and scans - Concise, practical and cutting edge content from one of the world's pre-eminent cancer centres CONTENTS Series foreword; Preface to Prostate Cancer; 1. Book condition
An important factor of a second-hand book is the condition of the book. The buyer may not be surprised. Always mention damages or defects. We use a system with 3 stars:
The book is acceptable: you have used it to study and made notes and markings – but everything is still readable. The cover and pages are in good condition.
The book still looks good: there are a few notes in it and you marked it. There are hardly any signs of use on the cover and pages
The book is (almost) new: you have not written or marked in it. There are no signs of use on the cover and pages
